I am practising biosocial conservationist specialising in the human dimension of conservation. I am a long-term member of the IUCN/SSC Conservation Translocation Group, and the vice chair of the IUCN SSC Primate Specialist Group Section on Human-Primate Interactions. I also act as a consultant on the human dimension of conservation for NGOs and donor organisations focusing on conservation work around marginalised and remote communities. I have worked in a zoo setting and in wildlife rehabilitation and release (in Canada and Morocco). I was field project manager for the swift fox reintroduction to Blackfeet Tribal Lands in Montana 2000-2003. In 2009, I founded still manage an inclusive conservation project in the north of Morocco for the Endangered Barbary macaque.
