HWIWG Interactive Session at the International Conference on Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence

The session 'Human-Wildlife Interactions in Conservation Translocations: developing guidelines' , on Saturday the 1st of April 2023, 2.00-3.30pm, https://www.hwcconference.org/Conference-Programme will be our third and last workshop where we invite colleagues to provide feedback about the guidelines published in 2022, to inform our work on the extended version of the guidance paper. We will introduce key Human-Wildlife Interaction issues that take place along the life cycle of a conservation translocation project, from planning to post-exit stages. Participants will be invited to discuss their experiences in HWI related to each of these stages, aiming to expand on findings from the Guidelines to Facilitate Human-Wildlife Interactions in Conservation Translocations (2022, see resources) to inform planning and promote wildlife conservation, collaboration amongst groups and coexistence.
