The last of our 3 workshops to gather feedback and case studies for the extended version of our Guidance for Human-Wildlife Interactions in Conservation Translocations took place on Saturday the 1st of April, as part of the ICHWCC, University of Oxford, UK. In a very well attended and dynamic interactive session, participants had a chance to hear an introduction presentation about our group and the Guidelines published in 2022, then share their own experiences working in groups (photos below). Each of these discussed one stage of the conservation translocation cycle and conveyed their key findings at the end of the 90 minutes session. We had a fantastic 3 days of inspiring talks and stimulating conversations about human-wildlife interactions, conflict and coexistence in the context of biodiversity conservation (see photo of all conference delegates), which culminated with this fabulous workshop... We have loads of excellent material to work on!
